The season hasnt even started and sam is going to get the hammers in trouble.

Fat sam wants to sign a striker for 44 million and he cant even score.

If they let fatsam spend 44 million on thr signing and wages of andy carroll then they are in trouble. ......

Ask any Wigan fan if he would swap last seasons FA cup for still being in the Prem , the answer will be an emphatic , no fekin way , to win a trophy makes your team part of history , its forever , you

I know im not the trendy type of fan clubs like Chelsea and City are attracting these days im a dinosaur when it comes to football i know that.....i dont expect or even really crave wild success and t

Same old, same old.......it's not the first time and it won't be the last.

In fairness we have bossed a few games but can't finish it off in front of the net.

A couple of players need a long hard look in the mirror.

It will be a nail biter but we are we used to those.......injury has been very unkind to us as well.

I suppose that's the difference between rich clubs and run of the mill, you just can't afford the depth in your squad and if your main players go boss eyed your bang in schtook !

What run of the mill clubs cant afford is for the second most expensive player in the clubs history to be a bang average player who can barely get in the team.......and that sits squarely on Allardyce,s shoulders...........anyone can have bad luck like we,ve had with Carrol......but Jarvis isnt a bad luck story its just bad management plain and simple.

I am no fan of allardyce as you well know but I am also loath to get the "blame the manager" ball rolling as well.

I don't like jumping on that train too lively.

That said, do you reckon his negative style has a negative effect on the team?......I have always believed that negativity in sport breeds negativity.

You can do a fair bit with average people if you have some belief and a positive attitude IMHO

We had a dream day at the yids but to be honest how he set the team out had alarm bells ringing for me which I think we discussed in another thread.

I will allways think of him as mr bolton wanderers.

Look at the 2 biggest signings hes made.

Are they the biggest in the club history?

Fat sam the Bolton man out.

And bring who in and give them what to spend?.....gen question mate

Im no football manager and he is......so i would never claim to know more about football than he does...........but i would claim to know more about this football club than he does................and one thing i do know is that there are certain things that just wont be accepted here...... sending teams out without strikers against average clubs will never be accepted.........we,ve been a yoyo club up and down for a while now thats not the issue.......but theres a way to get relegated and theres a way not to.......the way not to is going out every game home and away not to lose, its not acceptable and i cant see anyone else to blame for that......can you ?

Because its not what the fans are used to it just drags everyone down and naturally that negativity starts to effect the players..........does he think our defence is so brilliant that we wont concede goals ?.....because by not trying to win games with football your surely just relying on keeping a clean sheet and getting a lucky break somewhere......well our defence is not good enough to do that so he puts us on the back foot before we,ve even kicked a ball.........the players he,s brought in are his players to suit his style.................nothing else at the club has changed apart from what he has changed..............as you know Wilf we dont expect a lot down here but theres certain things that wont be tolerated and Allardyce is certainly pushing folks loyalties at the moment.

Theres plenty of others out there they would do a good job.

Me I would like to see Harry go back to upton park for a few years

Before finding a decent younger manager.

Never gonna happen IMHO

Agree with every word of that mate......I said as much after the yids game if you remember

Setting teams out like that says it all
